North Korea’s Internet down amid hacking claims

Apparently it was a 6gbps DDOS (of sorts) attack that took them out....

All 1024 of their IP Addresses disappeared. Oh the Horror!
 
Day 2 of my Telkom line being down. I feel their pain. The struggle is real :'(
 
Will you guys message me when that movie gets released I really want to watch it.
 
What is the implications economic etc when a country goes offline ?
 
For a normal country, probably quite big.. for North Korea, nothing really.
 
IIRC, our internet was severely affected by 9-11. Who can verify that? I don't recall any serious problems (as in long term) from back then from that outage.
