Hi Everyone

Trackmania Nations Forever ended up with 168 drivers over the 2014 season, giving the newer game a chance at being a main league for the 2015 Telkom DGL season. So far 20 racers have entered the competition with many more sure to come as we get closer to the closing date for registrations, which is Saturday, 24 January 2015.

The format for the competition is yet to be announced, but it will most likely be very similar to the format of Trackmania Nations Forever. Anyone can enter this competition as long as they have the game, or can get a hold.

You can download the game Here

Please note you get different Trackmania 2 titles. You will require Stadium to compete. There are alternative ways purchasing the game. I believe steam is running a good deal.

You can keep up to date Here

Love TM2, haven't played it in ages.
But with two young kids it's nay impossible to set aside 1 hour of dedicated/uninterrupted gaming time.

Last year we had 2 tracks loaded to a server for the entire week where a new track is loaded at the end of the week. The best part about this is we use a format called time attack allowing our racers to join the the server when ever they want! 10 minutes a week would work, the rest can be with your kids ;)

So at the end of the week the guys with the best time on the two tracks are the winners for those tracks? You don't have to log in at a specific time to race directly against other players?

The format still needs to be anounced but theres a good chance they will use the same format.

If its the same, the league goes on for 8 weeks where 2 new tracks are loaded each week giving us 16 tracks in total. So its important you join the server once a week to post a time on each track.

The winner will be anounce once all 16 tracks have been raced where everyone's time is added up and the player with the lowest time wins.

This sounds like fun. I'll keep an eye on it and if the format is like this I think I'll give it a go.
Thanks for the heads-up and explaination.

hmm.. maybe I will , I will also ask other players I know if they are interested.

How long are the tracks ?

That would be great. More registrations will improve our chances going to rAge.

Tracks still need to be announced. Last year we used ESL tracks which have been tested to avoid racers finding shortcuts. You looking at track times between 40 seconds to 1 minute.
