Telkom restructuring hits over 1,000 employees

Goes a long way to explain the pain numerous people have experience with calling in to the call centre
 
More than 25% staff reduction since 2010.
Typical of a parastatal and usually the wrong ones get the chop.
Still executives will get huge bonuses because it's the cadre and African way.
Service will drop even further and the continued reductions in clients will increase.
