Get drunk on powdered alcohol - coming to SA

I wonder if you can bake with it? Could we be on the brink of finally having alcoholic rusks and biscuits?
 
Staff Writer needs to learn that there's more to enjoying a drink than simply getting drunk.
 
Just add it to bottled water and you are good to go.
 
Good. I was getting tired of drinking in the parking lot of the club. Can finally sneak it in.
 
So, a car engine will run on Whiskey. Would it run on rehydrated whiskey?

If alcohol can be "powderised", couldn't this be done with petrol?
 
Just imagine, combine a 4 packets of vodka (Say 20%) in a cup of boiling water. Cool that sucker and you will get 80% vodka.

Wow, 100g per 250ml water to get to 4.8%. Not very effective. Would be easier to sneak fluid around.
 
So much comes to mind.

No upset stomach the next day
No p1ssing every five minutes
No vomiting
Sneaking it into a co-worker's drink to get him fired
No alcohol breath
Getting the guy who never drinks ****faced
Getting drunk anywhere without having to carry a bottle
Get it into the soda dispensers at a restaurant to get everyone ****ed

Sounds fun, ban it now.

You know if you put it in boiling water the alcohol will simply evaporate, right?

Why not just dissolve the four packs in a quarter cup of water instead?

Generally when you want to get a concentrated solution you need to use heat so everything dissolves nicely. Forgot about the boiling point :p
To remedy, just heat water to 78.37 degrees and you should have optimal temperature :D

Though speaking of the chemistry, I would bet this stuff in raw form would be damn right explosive. It will have the surface area of a power with the flammability of alcohol.

I would also like to know whether it is actual ethanol in liquid form, or is it the powdered solution in suspension with the water? :confused:
