Spur ribs are not much better. The best ribs at the moment are part of the all you can eat buffet at The Mad Platter in Alberton.

Steers ribs used to be some of the best out there, but they doubled their price and halved the quality a few years ago so I've not had them for ages. But either way, that looks incredibly sad. It looks like one rack cut in half and served as two.
Stick with their burgers I reckon.

It's around R100, for the best 'fall off the bone' ribs I've ever had. They're served on a wooden slab, with chips and a side-salad.

Can't vouch for Alberton as I'm not sure exactly where that is, but nothing is better than the rib special on Wednesday at the slug and Lettuce in Rivonia, R109 for 1kg of melt in your mouth ribs, add to that their awesome beers and a plate of Nachos........
