Same stuff for free? If there was such an option or even a paid one I think it would have been outed here long ago.

Yeah I can't believe there will really be anything worth watching. My guess is it is just some media player pre-configured with some free streaming services.

She claims it is 100% legal and optimized for South African bandwidth. :wtf:

I see one of her customers referred to it as an Android TV demo?

I don't know anything about these media boxes, so not sure what it can and can't do.

Bloody expensive. I thought that Android media players was much cheaper. (R1K to R1.8K).
Let me google it...

Hmmm. I notice that AVSUPPLY who used to sell these android media boxes don't have any on their website anymore. Does anyone know why not? I bought from that site before, excellent service.

It looks like an Android Media player
Its not exactly 100% legal - she doesn't mention requiring Internet for this (not everyone has Internet)
Plus mentions no monthly subscriptions but has Hulu and netflix and i'm assuming what ever DNS service they will be using.
Unfortunately the people she is marketing this for will have issues.

Don't really want to defend her rubbish, but she does mention that a stable internet connection is required...

You have to dig pretty deep into the site to find fairly important bits of info like:

Whether wanting to browse YouTube, watch TEDTalks, catch up on your favourite TV shows on BBC iPlayer, or see the latest Hollywood Blockbuster on Netflix all can be done using our range of media hubs (regional restrictions may apply).

Shes advertising to people as an alternative for DSTV with no subscription but fails to add that they will need to pay monthy subscriptions for:
- Uncapped internet at 4mbps for a decent connection (Especially if on more than one device) - R450pm?
If they don't have a telephone line or internet then another R189pm for the line rental
- Hulu subscription - R100pm
- Netflix subscription - R115pm
- Unotelly or alternative subscription. - R50pm

It's definitely an alternative... but at +-R800pm
