Officer fatally shot at Mooinooi Mall outside Brits

JOHANNESBURG - North West police have confirmed an officer has been shot dead at the Mooinooi Mall, outside Brits.

Details are still sketchy but emergency services are currently on the scene.

It’s understood two officers were patrolling the area when they approached a suspicious looking vehicle in the mall’s parking lot.

I've never defended the ruling party and I have never and will never support them. A man lost his life. His family lost a father, husband and all you can think about is... ANC! You're no different than Julius Malema crying racism where it isn't relevant.

"You're" is being used as a collective here. It includes you, Hemi300c and anyone else who'll say shyte like that. What ever sympathy he may have had when he typed "RIP" was negated the moment he decided to follow it up with cANCer killed you. And btw, this "cANCer" business is like spitting in the face of cancer sufferers, survivors and those who lost their battles with cancer. If you want to show your disapproval, do so, but be mature enough to type ANC as it should be. We'll get your discontent from the content of your comment not your petty name calling.

Looks like the cop was unlucky to be hit in the head from a distance. He just drops dead as he draws his weapon and run for cover behind a white NP200. Damn...
 
This and the Krugersdorp incident are examples of how social media is making us more aware of what's going on around us.
