I'm thinking of buying a larger screen for my main PC soon. At the moment i got a 27" philips monitor and now i want to get a 32" JVC led tv with 60hz. I mainly watch movies and browse the net majority of the time. Is this a good idea as an upgrade? Will i notice any grainy images and that? should i get a better make tv or is JVC good enough?

Not a good idea because grainy image.
What i would is get the tv but keep the 27". Set the two screens up cloned and aim the tv at the nearest couch for movie sessions. Browsing and games on the 27".
ya that's a good idea. but will it still show any grainy image watching movies on the larger tv?

Normally when you are watching a TV you are quite a lot further away from the screen than when looking at a monitor so any "graininess" will not be noticeable.
I have a 24" samsung screen as my main on my pc and a 32" samsung tv as my second. They dont run cloned. My tv is set as a second screen on its own. So when im busy playing games i can use it as a tv still or have my series run on it. My pc is in my bedroom so the tv is a decent enough distance from the bed to not notice grain. It is also not right next to my main screen but about 1 meter away on a different cabinet. If i want to use it while on the pc i just turn it to face me...

One thing you definitely do not want to do when choosing a TV as a monitor is go for something cheap.
You will end up with a blurry horrible image especially with text.
I went for Samsung because theirs, LG and some other brands have an option to set the TV to PC mode which does some background magic to make it look just as good as any other monitor.
Rather stick to something decent and full hd only.
