WTF is bluetooth disabled on Samsung Smart tv?

Did they sell it to you as a bundle, TV and soundbar package? Which store?
 
My mom has the JU6600 with it.

Is that similar?
 
Firstly you can do whatever the hell you want, now my question, why would you want to use Bluetooth instead of HDMI, which will give you superior audio quality?
 
Please Google before buying, I have the H6400 and can send you pics of the menu if you want, the Bluetooth HID might only be for a Samsung keyboard or smart remote. I can't find anywhere or anyone saying they use it with a soundbar.

H6400 definitely support audio for the sound bar over Bluetooth.
 
I have a Samsung UA55ES8000 and have the menu function to add a Samsung audio device.





What Samsung audio devices are compatible. Specifically looking for a headphone as the tv is in the bedroom and don't want to disturb my wife while she is sleeping.





I had a wireless headphone with the base plugged into the audio out but it is not that good in terms sound quality.

You will regret is. Samsung make excellent TV's. LG, they must stick to dish washers.

Don't know your set up etc, but I think all LG TV's are region locked.
 
@ Backstreetboy, can't you exchange the TV?

It's a bit misleading to bundle a non-Bluetooth TV with Bluetooth soundbar.
 
I have the same bundle and it's not a big deal, the soundbar has a power cable anyway

Samsung Bluetooth is wrapped proprietary such that you can only use their Bluetooth soundbar etc sucks.. It does it via hardware id it's written into the firmware of the tv. It's surprising that they aren't sued but then they do NOT advertise Bluetooth as a feature thus their limited/restricted use is allowed. Basically if u want Bluetooth get a 3rd party dongle (hdmi audio or optical to Bluetooth) or AppleTv4
