Netflix under pressure to block VPN users: analyst

US video streaming service Netflix has to move to block subscribers from using proxy technologies to access its service if it wants its global launch to be a success.

There is only one solution as far as I can tell for all this...

Legislation should be in place that prevents exclusive licencing.

As long as they're gonna charge me full price for a fraction of US content I'll circumvent & if they block that I've still got uTorrent installed.

Why? Let the industry develop naturally under market pressure. If it is more profitable for the studios to limit distribution and milking their small consumer base vs a larger market, let them. They should then not complain to hard when viewers obtain their material via alternative means.
