A look at the R6 billion skyscraper proposed for Durban

I wouldn't be surprised if it will be accepted considering the Commonwealth Games thread.
 
Won't happen unless the figure out some way of not impact NMR... the building dates back to 1936 and is therefore "protected" by Heritage KZN
 
There is no way they would be able to put it up without demolitioning NMR. Also what about that new off ramp they put through there? I can't see their being enough space at all.

Put it in the CBD proper and then we can talk.
 
88 floors ..... thats pretty big ....

Hope they dont use the same dudes contracted for the Tongaat Mall :eek:
