So there are a few of us that ditched DSTV, and now we struggle for sport.
One way of getting sports is using NTV, however, it is a pain as there is no AppleTV or SmartTV app out there that lets you watch NTV on your big screen.
I played around this weekend, and managed to get it working.
Android Device:
The above sounds like a lot of work, but once you have done it once or twice it is actually VERY easy.
I am able to stream to my LG TV, AppleTV 4 and AppleTV 3.
Alternative
If you have a mac, and you are able to sideload Kodi onto your AppleTV, then do that, and install the NTV plugin. That way no android device is necesary.
If you do have a mac, and live close to Kempton Park, please help a fella out with the side loading

Android Device:
- Install MX Player from the play store
- Download Matrix TV Browser from the play store
- Buy yourself a copy of AllCast Premium on the play store ($5)
- Launch Matrix TV Browser, it will prompt you for a server, type NTV.MX
- Enter your login details.
- browse for the action you want to watch, and start the video.
- once the videio is started, select options > Tools > Share then select the "AllCast" icon.
- AllCast will launch and it will show all the devices you can stream to.
- Sit back and enjoy sports on the big screen.
