Beware of fake traffic fine SMS scam: SA Police

There is a similar SMS scam being run by SCAMRAL which is trying to trick people into paying illegitimate/ill-conceived etrolling bills.
 
Do the scammers have access to your vehicle information or which information do they provide the victim to convince them of offence?
 
I only got the payfine 7 day summons one. I registered and saw I did have a fine with notice before summons status. Paid that and last I heard from them.
