Delete bank statements from your inbox immediately: Sabric

In the whole article, only the last line mentions: "It is also important to delete sensitive information like bank statements from your inbox, moving them to a secure folder."

why? is my question...

Especially when your e-mail account has 2 factor authentication enabled.

Your PDF statements should be password protected anyway... as is your email.

What sort of secure folder is this clown referring to?

I suspect that far more money is stolen via phisphing attacks than by crims getting hold other unsuspecting people's bank statements...

When you take out a new cell contract or apply for a loan/vehicle finance you have to hand your bank statement to complete strangers anyway...

Don't bank on public computers? Amazing.

It further advises creating a new password directly after updating software.

Wait... What??? This seems somewhat counterintuitive, or at the very least pointless.

If a software update has somehow compromised your password, what's the point of trying to change it on the same system? I must be missing something here.

Also, since most updates are automatic, they'd be fairly transparent to the average user. You'd have to change your password pretty much every second day with all the software updates that happen on most systems.
