I think its quite clever. While its not something i need to use often. It could come in handy
 
Why the hate? It will only return a balance and let you buy airtime (for yourself only). It's not like they're going to let you actually transact on social media yet - that would open a huge can of worms in terms of security and the onus of liability...

K4k man, you have no idea how banking systems work. This would just be a couple of API calls to a few harmless services, which in turn would have their own secure, internal calls to the back end. If they somehow haxx0rs your Twitter account, what's the worst that could happen - they see your bank balance or buy you some airtime? Pfft...
 
This seems like an incredibly silly idea.

If FNB offered this I certainly wouldn't use it.
