The weak rand means slower computers in South Africa

Even before Nenegate, we still had our fair share of Celeron laptops with 2 Gigabytes of RAM floating around...
 
Yet people will pay R16 000 for a phone :). I've not upgraded my laptop in 4 years, looking online though at cpu benchmarks it's still not to shabby. The GFX card isn't so great anymore though.

Wait what? I wants a piece of that lie sorry pie :). Looking at the price of laptops sheesh what I paid for mine in 2012 won't get you much.
 
It always was like that:
We are one or two steps behind. Everyone uses gtx980, we use gtx970. Everyone sits on fibre and we are just rolling it out.
