Continuing from this thread (V6 Cityscapes), this weeks friendly competition is "The Sun".

Post a photo of our "giver of life", as the star in your shot (pun intended) - the Sun.

Rules:
1) The sun must be directly in shot - sunlight itself does not count. This can be in the background or the actual focus of your image.
2) NO POST EDITING - Only resizing is allowed.
3) Images must be posted in this thread - no links.
4) Some background of the image must be given, as well as the device the image was taken with.
5) Multiple entries allowed.

The winner will be announced by COB Friday 17 June.

Although I can't win I'm gonna post anyway...
