New Firefox is more stable and responsive

Mozilla has launched Firefox 48, which is less susceptible to freezing and more responsive to input.

Maybe I should try this, Chrome just freezes too often.

I found Firefox 64 Bit handles much better, no freezing issues.

Rofl because freezing/hanging applications only occur when you have insufficient RAM?

Yes

I had freezing crashing issues time and time agaon on a old 2Gb i3 machine.

Added 8gb ram to that and all the issues dissappeared.

So went to the main pc and got it up to 32Gb just on case.

More ram definately makes a big difference.
Minimum these days I consider is 8GB.
