Pokemon Go, where to catch em all Johannesburg

So I have compiled a list of where I have found Pokémon around the Johannesburg. I was hoping people could post where nests are and I will update the list as we go. Hopefully we will be able to “catch em all” from this list.

The areas I have been

Emmarentia dam: 15 pokestops in a small area great for getting pokeballs and 4 gyms. Lures going off all weekend normally 3-7 at a time. 9 pokestops in a 5 min rotation
Lifestyle: 7 pokestops in a 5 min rotation and one gym. Can have breakfast at primi piati and drop double lures. Lures generally are going off all day on weekends
Delta park: lots of pokestops and gyms but far apart. Lures go off but not all the time so take some with you.
Brightwater commons: 3 pokestops so make sure you take 100 pokeballs plus with you. 2 pokestops close together with lures going off all day. Make sure to take your charger and a 2 pin adaptor as there are plug points!
Copperlakes brewery: 7 pokestops in a 5-10 min rotation and 2 gyms. Lures aren’t dropped a lot so make sure you stock up on some before heading there.
Parkhurst 4th avenue: 9 pokestops in 20 min rotation and 1 gym. Lures are dropped at night but barely during the day. On weekends it is very busy there so it is hard to get around. Not to easy to drop double lures unless you go to the park at 12th street and 6th avenue.


Areas from the community

Montecasino: The outside area by Mugg and Bean. Three pokestops almost always lured.
Meyersdal Mall in Alberton: 5 pokestops in a small area, a gym at the petrol station next door and
Lures on and off during the day over the weekends and most nights.
Walter Sisulu Botanical Garden 8 pokestops and 3 gyms.
bokkie park only 1 gym but you can reach 4 stops from 1 spot

147 – Dratini – Brightwater commons (very low spawn rate) one every 1-2 hours

Montecasino. The outside area by Mugg and Bean. Three pokestops almost always lured. The pokemon that spawn regularly are plenty Growlithe, Sandshrew, Cubone, Meowth, Geodude, Ryhorn and Machop. The occasional Ponyta and other rare ones. Hitmonlee and Dugtrio run away from me on the same day. Also caught a Charmeleon there. Looking for new hunting grounds though

Found a kabuto and omanyte there. plenty of slowpokes and growliths around.

tried twice, no luck either time.

my best spot for ghastly so far has been Flora farm. I have caught 5 there, every other one I have found has been a once off.
side note I have only cought one ghastly at night, and I am more active at night than during the day.

Ghastly, Magic Carp and Dratini are the big ones I still want to farm.

I would also not mind finding a bulbasour wiht decent IV's and a CP of over 400, but that is dreaming isnt it?

Is that where all the pedophiles have gathered now?
 
You can add the bokkie bark to your list. only 1 gym but you can reach 4 stops from 1 spot. Missed an Aerodactyl spawn there but loads of others got it. Meowth, growlith, machop are mostly what I've caught there apart from the usual catches. Friend caught a persian there with incense

Edit: also caught 2 pikachus at carnival city a while ago, a wigglytuff and a marowak. Seen a few eevees on the nearby list but only caught 2 I think. We missed a flareon on the way out by the gate cause we took too long to get out :(

I drive past here every day and there is either a Bulbasaur or a Squirtle every time I go past

forgot to add Aerodactyl to the list.
 
Quick update found a Dratini spawn point at Brightwater commons but it only spawns once every 1-2 hours
