Continuing from my post in the DroidTV thread:
Ok so I've had a couple of days to play with this and I'm really impressed.
There were a few niggles during set-up(mainly dealing with Win10) but I think Jacque has sorted it all out in the instructions now. I've had a read through them and it's very clear on what you need to do. The instructions and tips can be found here:

Once we got the set-up done the remote was a joy to program, that screen really helps you out so you don't have to do the usual programming method of holding 19 buttons down, spinning in a circle and cursing the sainted goat. That's if you even have to go that route, while connected to the PC you punch in the model number of your device or even the remote model number and *ping* it gets the settings. Managed to do that with the mygica 582(the 585 is close enough) and my TV. My amp required manual programming though.
So for a day I just used the remote like that, swapping between the devices and it worked well. However this remote can do much more.
Once connected to the PC you can add "Favourites" to the home screen, so I set one up called "Watch TV" this when selected powers up the TV, amp and mygica and loads Kodi(there are delay settings so you can open kodi after the box has booted up) after which the remote runs the DroidTV. I then created another one called "All Off" which, unsurprisingly turned everything off. Now while this was ok, I didn't like that you had to switch between the favourites every time, I just knew the SO wouldn't like it.
So I created a "new" device called "All In One" and loaded the Droid box settings, then you can go to "Macro's" and this gives the options of setting buttons to do multiple things, so under "All In One" the power button does all the devices and boots Kodi. Then I programmed volume to do my amp and a few of the keys to adjust sound modes etc and voila, one remote to run 3 devices at once, intuitively...
So intuitively in fact, that after a few too many beers with the guys on fri night I came home to a face like thunder plonked in front of the TV watching her stories... After being marched to bed, the next morning while making apology coffee I noticed everything was off with the remote un-smashed on the coffee table. And this is from a woman who got confused about Pokemon Go...
As usual Jacque was a joy to communicate with, I was supposed to be helping him out but of course he did most of the work. I specifically wanted page up and down, he had the idea of using a Key Map Editor to assign up and down to unused keys, works perfectly. I also have a very weird issue where my TV and mygica use the same frequencies, no problem, he created a .conf edit installer that will map the mygica to different codes, still just need to dig out the old laptop with the card reader to try this though.
All in all a great remote and even greater service.
After the glowing recommendation though a few notes, the screen isn't touch, there are buttons either side of the screen. And the big one is the batteries, it isn't chargeable and uses 3xAA's. The ones supplied are crap, online reviews say programming really chews the batteries up and mine barely survived the initial setup. I'm experiencing similar though, under normal use with just red Energizers after 5 days now the battery bar is still full. I would still recommend dropping the brightness and screen timeout to minimum though.

So Jacque from AVSupply in his infinite wisdom decided to ask me to be a guinea pig for one of his new products:

A universal remote a la Logitec Harmony... A full review will be posted next week once I've had a play.
