Steam not downloading games

Hi All

Hoping someone has experienced the same issue. From yesterday my steam does not download any game or the updates. The network and disk graph bar it shows just flat lines. Every now and again it will download like 5mb and flat line again.

Ive done pretty much every single thing that my google searches have come up with. All other applications that use the net work 100%. Battle.net, origin, netflix, twitch, youtube and even my emails are all working as per usual. Just steam that's not downloading.

Any suggestions?

Oh yes btw. Windows 10 Pro, ISP is Afrihost 10mb Uncapped.

Thanks for the info, I was having the same problem since yesterday or so. I'll try the fix tonight.
 
Thanks for the help guys, a friend of mine was complaining abut this issue and I linked him here.
Indeed he is on Afrihost, weird issue!!!
 
Wow, after no support from Afrihost, and 4 days of googleling I just found this and it fixed my issue.
