Nikki Pienaar went missing on January 5‚ 2017

A mother whose car was recovered in Port Elizabeth over the weekend is desperately holding on to the hope that her missing daughter will “walk through the door and everything will be okay”. As Paarl psychologist Marlaine Pienaar-Vice waits anxiously for news of her daughter, Nicola Pienaar, 28, the man caught with her stolen car appeared in court yesterday – where it emerged he had given police a false address.

Jacobus Oosthuizen, 32, told the Port Elizabeth Magistrate’s Court through his Legal Aid attorney that he would plead not guilty to a provisional charge of theft of a vehicle.

Oosthuizen was arrested outside the KFC at Five Ways while parked in a Peugeot belonging to Pienaar-Vice, who had reported Nicole missing on January 8.

Nicola was last seen on January 5, when she left her mother’s home in the gold Peugeot.

Missing Paarl woman’s friend caught with her mom’s stolen car

A friend of Nicola Pienaar (28), who has been missing since 5 January, will appear in a Port Elizabeth magistrate’s court on Monday in connection with a stolen car.

The 32-year-old friend was caught in possession of Nicola’s mother’s silver Peugeot 206 on Saturday.

Colonel Priscilla Naidu, a police spokesperson, says the man will appear in court on a charge of possession of a suspected stolen car.

Nicola and the friend apparently left Paarl together on 5 January. Some reports suggest the man was her boyfriend.

According to Colonel Naidu the friend alleged that they had had an argument on 7 January and that he’d dropped her off in Oudtshoorn with money and told her to make her way back to Paarl.

Paarl man leads police to his girlfriend’s grave

Jacobus Oosthuizen has led police to the grave in Paarl where his girlfriend Nicola Pienaar was buried‚ according to authorities.

Pienaar‚ 28‚ was reported missing by her psychologist mother‚ Marlaine Pienaar-Vice‚ on January 8.

Oosthuizen‚ 32‚ was later arrested in Port Elizabeth on a charge of theft of a motor vehicle after he was found sleeping in the gold Peugeot belonging to Pienaar-Vice. While Oosthuizen told police at the time that he and Pienaar had a fight and that he then dropped her off in Oudtshoorn‚ he confessed to police about his alleged involvement in Pienaar’s death on Sunday night.

Police spokesman Captain FC van Wyk confirmed on Monday that Pienaar was found buried at the residence of a 32-year-old man in Paarl.

“The investigation team was led to the premises by the suspect who pointed out a secluded area in the yard‚ where the body was found buried under rubble‚” said Van Wyk.

I would have been amazed if Nicole turned up alive somewhere. This case was awful from the start. I wonder what sort of sentence he'll get. Our courts seems to hold fraud as a more serious crime than murder.

Murders girlfriend.
Buries body in his mother's backyard.
Drives around in her car.

Dumb people are terrible murderers/criminals.

There is no sentence that'll make sense to the grim end this lass must have endured. For her family, it's full of pain and immense sadness. Ai tog

He killed her and her 6 month fetus. He only started dating her 3 months ago so must have gotten enraged when he found out she was pregnant seeing where he cut her.
