When i tried to use it, I got the following, "Promo code TAKEALOT10 expired on 2015-09-01 00:00:00"
 
Why doesn't your cart allow stacking vouchers, you can only order one Takealot voucher per order, seems a little antiquated?

Hi @airborne,

Thanks for the feedback - it's much appreciated! We're working with a lot of our suppliers on replacing standard denominations with variable vouchers, so that customers can choose an exact amount, rather than having to stack or buy multiple vouchers. We effectively want to do away with a middle "cart" page where you would change quantities, etc., and make the checkout process as simple and quick as possible.

Saying that, we do sell our own vouchers that can be bought in any amount between R50 - R2500. Once redeemed on eGifts24, it works like credit, and so checking out with any orders will be automatically completed. It's a work-around for those that don't want to make multiple payments, but we do understand it's not ideal. Hopefully it's only a temporary solution until we have variable vouchers from all suppliers.

We will monitor and re-evaluate this process in the future should we feel it's not working. At this stage though, we want to stay on the course we're heading with future variable vouchers.

But why can't I add more than one voucher to the cart?
 
That's like wanting to buy 8 liters of milk, but you can only buy 2 at a time. Checkout x 1 is a lot less painless than Checkout x 4

Thanks for the feedback, @Elax. Currently this only affects a small percentage of customers, and the current easier and faster checkout process has seen better conversions and good feedback. But as mentioned before, we believe that once we have variable vouchers for all products, this won't be an issue anymore. As per your example, with variable vouchers, someone may want only 7.25l of milk, and will be able to purchase exactly that in one checkout, instead of buying 8l, and not really needing the other 0.75l. We'll continue to monitor it though, and re-evaluate the process if need be.

Wtf!
Your way of doing things goes against virtually every online shopping site I've ever used, it's nothing to do with the denominations. You add all the items you require to your cart and check out once only. With your current method if you want 8 vouchers you need to check out 8 times.

Retarded doesn't even come close, this is next level bs.

Unfortunately the promotion is now finished. We will be looking at doing more promotions in the future though.
