Wish - Online shopping app - Anyone used it?

From what I have heard there is a mix of reputable and non-reputable vendors on the site, it could go either way

bumpity...

Anyone with further experiences?

If I order 10 different items, will they send me 10 packages from 10 manufacturers, or do they send me one package?

Subscribed. Got a +1 from Carbonite on Wish. Also want to order some stuff.

My wife ordered some stuff a few weeks ago, still waiting for it to arrive.
The general comments say everything takes a long time before you have it.

I ordered a few items - seems they each get shipped separately.
I'll update when they arrive

I don't like having to sign up just to browse whats on offer

Couldn't find anything on the site. See they number 1 most downloaded on ios as well.

Prices are amazing and general consensus is, it's not a scam. Just wondering how shipping will work with post office and customs?

Basically China town on your phone.

The SO just told me about this site today. Couple of her colleagues have had many successful orders, rarely paying customs.

But it will be post office, so hope and pray post office sends you a note that parcel is there? If they don't steal it first...

I ordered some cheapish stuff the other day to see what happens.
Looks like they sources their wares from many different vendors, one item I ordered is coming from the Netherlands.
Shipping is very slow so you need to be patient.

Otherwise my biggest concern is the SAPO.

This is just eBay drop shippers by another name. Not sure why people are so excited.

4/5 parcels get stolen by SAPO anyhow, not worth the time or hassle for Fong Kong items.

I've placed 2 orders with them so far.

1st) 2TB USB Stick for $6, arrived in 6 weeks and had to pay about R37 for customs and VAT
2nd) 128GB SD Card, also arrived in about 6 weeks, came straight to my house, no customs or VAT payable.

Was a little worried about the second one, as the tracking stopped once it hit Jhb, but at $6 for that as well I wasn't too worried.

I have a colleague that told me about this. The prices are amazing. According to him if they send you the wrong item you get your money back instead of replacing your item.

I have friends that use them a lot and they are happy with it.

You wait a long time for delivery though.

Also have heard mixed feelings. So many items "almost Gone" at low prices. They accept your funds via cc and then advise you stock is sold out and offer you something else or a refund.
