The response times is a little bit behind to be on the competitive table. To put this out there, the GM70 has a 3360 sensor and the GM60 has a 3330 sensor, but the DPI on the 3360 is set to 1000 / 1800 / 2800 / 3600 and max. 18,000 which means that there is something custom to the sensor, it is likely to be manually set at 400 / 800 which will suite FPS gamers. The mice have Omron switched, good. Here is the problem, the weight,

The GM70 weighs 129g and the GM60 weighs 115g, both mice are 12,5cm long and 6,6cm wide. This is not going to suite many gamers, I don’t know whether this is with or without the side grips. I guess these will be R1000+ mice, considering that the one is a hybrid wired/wireless mouse which is likely to be priced around the ~R1500 or more mark.

Good luck MSI.

Since they claim 0.33ms response time I doubt that it is true, but I don’t know whether it is button or general input lag (USB/wireless report rate). When you look at mice like the Zowie’s, G403 and some Razer mice they all have a sub-190ms button response, but they are all rated at 1ms response time. I don’t believe that MSI’s claim on 0.33ms response time is remotely accurate or they must have an extremely high polling rate. Cougar’s updated series they announced earlier this month also boasts an 2000Hz polling rate which is already under scrutiny by the public. It is odd, maybe it is a marketing blunder?
