Yo dawg, I herd you like built-in CPUs...
I have an ASrock J3355 board with a fixed CPU for my media PC and it plays up to 4K x265 10-bit 30FPS. The board takes SO-DIMMs as well so it is very compact.I need a fanless PSU to pair with this.
Does something like a laptop charger to ITX/whatever motherboard connector exist?
My media centre is getting tired- this will be perfect when it dies/when 4k becomes a requirement.
I assume it'll do x265??
You mean like a nano- or pico- PSU?I need a fanless PSU to pair with this.

Apparently yes, from TFA:My media centre is getting tired- this will be perfect when it dies/when 4k becomes a requirement.

Those wee stick-onto-the-board-socket PSUs have their own power bricks that, for all the world may as well be laptop bricks; have to dig a bit further in because a pox on [-]want[/-] gougeitall! Ah, I see you already have robotics, looks like we may well be sorted that way anyway.Thanks.
Just need to wait for the laptop to pack up- it's on its way already

Looks like you need a 12v input for those? From a standard laptop adapter?
The highest wattage I have is a 90W Dell, IIRC. Haven't seen many higher than that...

Nope. No socket for the CPU - it is bonded/soldered onto the the board. Are the CPU's surface mounted or upgradeable ?
