Brave blockchain browser partners with Dow Jones

From ad blocking to a little boys club of advertisers. Meh.
 
been using brave for a bit now, its not bad.

some tinfoilhattery

for the past while every time i log into mybb(specifically) with brave, i get a fake update notice for the browser, i know its fake because there is no update from them directly and my version matches their release. there are also reports of sites being infected with warez pushing out fake browser updates recently.

then to check what happens, i logged into mybb with IE while my vpn is disabled. go back to brave and vpn, the update request no longer appears, still hasnt reappeared
