Telkom website shows users “Hello World”

The owner of 165.143.151.47 has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website.

165.143.151.47 uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is only valid for *.telkom.co.za. Error code: SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN

I'm guessing someone pointed their wildcard dns entry for the domain to the wrong server or they just deleted the default doc that had a .js redirect or something silly like... um... reinstalled the OS... and subsequently forgot it was actually in use.

They probably just upgraded a Windows cloud instance.

So Telkom has been hacked and they're completely oblivious to the fact. They're too busy complaining that the duopoly of Vodacom & MTN is unfair to notice it. Figures...
 
Took you a long time to find this out? We spotted more than a week ago.
