This morning I open up FF - everything fine.

Later this morning, after having closed the browser, I open it again and all my profile info seems to be gone. Different home page, different theme, different config and no bookmarks. I feel .

I also seem to be having a problem with submiting forms, all in all my firefox seems to be broked.

crap.

Yeah, I looked for it.

I got C:\Documents and Settings\[Username]\User Data\, but nothing seemed appropriate under there.

Most of my difficult to replace bookmarks are in del.icio.us, the ones in firefox just provide easy access to my important work-related sites, like Myadsl. :D

What happened was Excel froze up this morning - and I was unable to kill it except by shutting down "uncleanly".

Say what you like, but I am convinced that Microsoft have pressed the button and are interfering with my computer in an effort to get me to upgrade to Vista.

!

I wasn't looking at hidden files - got it now. Luke777, that's a great help, thanks man.

My biggest loss, in retrospect, would have been my quick searches. I love those babies.:D

No problem. Wasn't aware of their hidden status, since the first thing I always do in Explorer after a new install is "show hidden Files & folders" and untick "hide known extensions" :D But think about using a Firefox extension as well. Can't hurt.

Yeah the extension is very handy :D

Those are the two options in windows I've never understood the need for Luke :D
