Hi there

please can the MTN guys tell me how to set up mms on my HP IPAQ 6515?

try the cab files for the pda2k located on leafwireless.co.za they should work as they r designed for pocket pc 2003..........

I have the cab files for the 6515 and as well as the setup for the mms and gprs to work. If you still need it let me know and i can send it to you.

12. Tap Tools and Tap MMS Settings and enter the following:
– Connect via: MTN-MMS

13. Click the Servers Tap and click New and enter the following:

Then Dial *123*12#Call. This will return an error but will do the relevant provisioning on the network for your number to use MMS.

Any problems pls PM me.

HTC Tytn

Hello

I have a HTC Tytn running WM6 and I'm trying to set up MMS.

I have followed your steps almost exactly (there are subtle differences) but I still can't send or receive any messages. When I try send, it connects successfully and starts sending the message but then it stops and (after a few retries) eventually fails.

I'm not sure what the problem is. I can browse fine.
I tried navigating to the mms server path but it said it couldn't find the server. I would have expected it to find the server but give some other kind of error.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
Daryl

Okay... So I went to the Leaf website eventually (http://www.leafwireless.co.za)
And they had a cab file that I downloaded and it changed all my settings and now it works.

There's 2 things that I think I was doing wrong.
1. I was telling the MMS to through an open internet connection instead of a private connection.
2. I think I was using a proxy. I can't see if I was because all of those settings are gone.

So its working now and thats all that matters. I wish MTN could have just told me to go to leaf's website from the start.

Thanks.
Daryl
