Glad to hear it works 100% for you , though at the moment it seems to be having trouble with SSL (HTTPS) Links and i have not yet tested downloads through it so please do leave feedback about problems encountered with the web-based proxy

Ok

Downloads do not work or do they have a size limit? The Windows Genuine Check download worked but it only has a size of 1,5 MB.

Edit:

This is what it says if you want to download something bigger:

"A timeout occured while waiting for the script output (in: /usr/www/users/zarpor/webproxy/index.php)."
 
Hey Gixxa ,

That has to do with the PHP Execute limit so that is most likely why so i can't really change that , so far i have tested Youtube , it does not load the video's correctly and so on , so this is kind of a pain but for general website browsing to international sites it should be fine regardless of how big the HTML or PHP Content is.

I will be looking for a better script in the meanwhile to replace it that might provide downloads and on demand streaming but please do not cross your fingers :( thanks for your feed back though :).

Well almost all the downloads I need I can get over local hosts. But its good to know that I can check my E-Mails since the mail server is in Germany.

So a VERY BIG THX to you!
 
It works, One suggestion make the url textbox clear so users can see it..put a border around it..

Hey ,

It shows clear on my screen if i may know what screen do you have and what resolution you have since it would help me clear it up , i am considering changing it to a darker background :) so it should be clearer for everyone then.
 
So how long will this service stay free? There have been a few others that tried this and either after a week or two they shut down or turned into a paid service.

Thing is i am tired of people always shutting down things and not having any commitment to their projects , none of the services that i will offer will ever require you to pay , donates are welcome but not required , local is much cheaper then international as you all know but there is so little sites that are actually worth while on the local web only a few that i can think of to be honest.

I would love to offer you guys seedboxes and so on but that's something i can't afford at the moment maybe in the future as i have international dedicated servers but they wont help much at the moment as this is for the local community so i can only offer the basics services that revolve around PHP Scripts and MySQL Databases also with the WUGs that are introduced and alot of new people joining them my services and future services will become obsolete since they have DC++ Hubs and so on already on there at high speeds :)

Hey All ,

The proxy still works fine on my side with sites loading like google , zaportal itself etc so its really word , with what sites are you experincing this?
 
Screen resolution is 1024 by 768, laptop screen 15"

The textbox is clearly visible when you go to a site, eg. google

I get the FCGI error as well if I move away from the loading tab, but if I wait for it to load it works fine..
