What's the best way to get 4 screens on a pc?
Can you run 4 screens if you have SLI? or will you need a secdon (or third) pci display card in the pc. (togheter with a pcix)

I think if you have 2 graphics cards in SLI then 2 monitors can use DVI and the other 2 can use VGA. But there are special cards that can output to more than 2 monitors.

Yesss, but they're kinda expensive... :D

If you use sli you can only use the connections on one of the cards. So if the one card has 2 connections you'll only be able to run 2 screens off the set up. Easiest way would be to get an extra pci card.

I have a PCI Express 16x graphic card with 2 monitors (DVI and VGA) and a normal PCI card with 2 monitors (DVI and VGA). Both are GeForce and both have 256mb memory. Remember for Vista both the display cards must have the same chipset - i.e. you cannot have a Radeon and an Nvidia card. In XP you can mix the graphics cards.
Also, if using PCI and PCIX/AGP you must specify in the m/board's bios that the PCI card is to be initialised first.
