DVD to DIVX

Hi Guys,

Whats the best package to backup your dvd's to divx? I used that "Handbrake" but the quality is not so good. I also used FlaskMpeg with panasonic plugin, but it takes too long. Dvdx the quality is not so good, I get those funny scan lines...

Any other *free* packages you can suggest?
 
i use magic dvd ripper

nothing that is free will work well man

take 20 dolla and purchase a decent program, its not that expensive
 
Fairuse Wizard free edition, - AWESOME! Only to 700mb tho. Excellent quality tho.
 
ok which profile/settings do i use? cos i keep getting that download page pop msg
 
DVDFab Platinum is an all in one package. Worth the dosh. Or CloneDVD mobile.

Free package wise ... autogk FTW
 
I use FlaskMPEG, only because i find AutoGK a little slow and that I am tired of learning new things (translation, getting old).

Once i have installed DivX I fire up Flask MPEG, load the .IFO , decide on File size, decide on Audio bit rate and save, less than an hour later , I have a brand new 699 MB movie.

I also prefer flask. what plugin u using? I'm trying to get the panasonic plugin, do you have it?
 
There's another good one for movies. ThePirateBay is it? :-)

I've noted the recommendations and will try them out shortly.
