Where can I get an iPhone?

Does anybody know where I can get my hands on an iPhone 3GS - on Vodacom contract (upgrade)?

Every cellular outlet tells me there is no stock and they have no idea when they will get stock.

I find this impossible to believe.

Surely somebody must know when stock will be arriving. I have been on waiting lists now for over a month.

I have also been waiting over a month.
No one knows when stock is arriving.

So frustrating.
 
So I just got a call from the Vodashop. It seems as if they are told by Vodacom to send an emergency list of all people waiting for iPhones. They said they should have news on Monday or Tuesday.
 
I hope this is good news. I will give them another week or 2. Then I will cancel my order and import my own phone

Cool. I really hope this is good news!!! I just hope they receive more than about 50 phones!!!!
 
I am so glad I got my iPhone when I did. I would go out of my mind waiting, I had to wait. I waited all of 2 days for my iPhone 3G 16GB. I don't see the sense in getting a 3GS. This puppy does just fine & it was only R 330 p/m
 
I chatted to the guys at Autopage at Vodaworld, they aint that helpful or clued up, but they said another 2-3 weeks of waiting, that said, they told me the same thing 2-3 weeks ago as well...
 
guy from nashua just mailed me, vodacom still hasnt got any news or updates. im going to sell my xperia and get one on ebay.
 
I got an Email from our Account Exec at Nashua Mobile last night. She said that according to their system, 5 x 3Gs's had appeared in stock. They were 32gb versions though, not 16gb. The stock was in JHB though, she followed up this morning only to be told the stock was already allocated to other orders.

So back to square one....wait....wait....wait.
 
My 3Gs has arrived ! Got it this morning.

Finally!!

I wonder how much stock was actually sent to SA ?
