Rafemoyo said South Africa's Eskom, the biggest power utility in southern Africa, had stopped supplying electricity to Zimbabwe last June, but this was not because of unpaid debts.

Eskom spokesman Fani Zulu confirmed the new arrangement in a telephone interview yesterday, but said ZESA had already settled part of its November 2007 bill. He declined to say whether South Africa would switch off Zimbabwe in the event of ZESA failing to pay up.

According to this article Eskom has definitely been supplying electricity to Zim v1.0 if I'm not mistaken. Why else would they have a November 2007 bill?

its not like they have much use for electricity anyhow

i mean wtf would they use it for? they have no business that make money 90% of the population live without it
