Min specs for Assassin's Creed PC

Description
Ubisoft revealed today the minimum system requirements to run the PC version of Assassin's Creed and it seems that the game is slightly more demanding than Crysis.

In ubisoft's own words, "in order to play this game properly, your PC MUST meet or exceed these minimum requirements":

- Supported OS: Windows XP / Vista (only)
- Processor: Dual core processor 2.6 GHz Intel Pentium D or AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ (Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz or AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ or better recommended)
- RAM: 2 GB (3 GB recommended)
- Video Card: 256 MB DirectX 10.0-compliant video card or DirectX 9.0-compliant card with Shader Model 3.0 or higher (512 MB video card recommended) (see supported list)*
- Sound Card: DirectX 9.0 or 10.0 compliant sound card (5.1 sound card recommended)
- DirectX Version: DirectX 10.0 libraries (included on disc)
- DVD-ROM: DVD-ROM dual-layer drive
- Hard Drive Space: 12 GB
- Peripherals Supported: Keyboard, mouse, optional controller (Xbox 360 Controller for Windows recommended)

I have actually thought of a very good reason for this (when i heard it was delayed for PC)

If you've played Asssassin's creed on one of the consoles, you'll know that climbing is a relatively important part of the game.

And if you know more, you'll see that the buildings/walls/window have "grip places" to grab onto and climb up.

From what i understand, in most games, if you lower the graphics settings you lose a lot of detail.

But with AC, without the detail you wouldnt be able to do much climbing! I mean even if you couldnt see it, it would still have to generate the landscape to have those places there. The only way to really lower the graphics is to make the textures of a lower resolution.

Well thats my reasoning anyway, already played it (and loved it) on xbox360 ^_^
