I have used it on 3G. Should not be much different on CDMA. It just chews bandwidth.
Well Skype seems to be working just fine on my side with int video calls to amsterdam. Just remember that the upload speeds on neotel are horrific and while it looks fine on my side it is apparently not so great in amsterdam.

I could not get video Skype to work on iBurst in Pretoria to ADSL (Telkom least slowest) in Pretoria.
The person on iBurst could see the video, but the video from iBurst to ADSL did not work.
Maybe it is a question of iBurst attempting to kill Skype for competing with their revenue generating VoIP service?

No i have used iburst for skype calls many a time and it works like a dream, must be a skype issue on your side
