please teach me how to change data bundle?

I purchased 100mb last month, however i find it's too small for me and now MTN charge me at out of bundle price which is not good for me :( so i want to change it to 500mb data bundle for the next 30 days, i don't know how to operate, anyone teach me, thx a lot!
 
From my experience I would assume it is as follows:

I assume you are on Pay as you go. First of all, you have to cancel the current data bundle by sending the following via a cell phone *141*6*0#.
After that, you subscribe to the new data bundle by sending *141*6*500#.
You must do this before the 30 days are up and the 100mb bundle is automatically renewed.
Ensure you have enough funds on the card to pay for the bundle.

Can someone else just confirm this for me pse.
 
Just want to add that it's only necessary to actually cancel a bundle if you originally chose the 'Subscribe to data bundle' option when buying the bundle, rather than the 'Buy a one-off bundle' option.

There is a similar thread running elsewhere in the MTN section.

Seems this can only be done by phoning 555 and not via USSD codes.
 
Is a data bundle possible on MyChoice topup?
How does 1 do a ME2U from mychoice to prepaid, no option when calling 555,MTN SP?
