well then; guess i'll be downloading it next week :)

That's right, the lads at Monolith finally gave us an official date for the demo for the upcoming shooter F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin. The demo is going to be released simultaneously for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on January 22.

"The F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin demo will offer a glimpse of the action, terror and suspense of the full retail version of the game. Players will maneuver through bloodstained corridors and hallways from several locations in the game, as they combat through various parts of the city of Auburn, which now lays in ruin after the catastrophic explosion that rocked the finale of F.E.A.R."

About time. Can't wait to try this out.

Provided its not under exclusive license to FilePlanet or something (like these big names often are) it'll be mirrored on our site as soon as I spot it.
 
i reached my cap before i could finish download the demo but im hearing good things about the game n this is definately on my shopping list.
 
Played for a short bit last night, looks like it picks up shortly after the first one ends. Looks really good. I might just pick up a copy of this. :D
 
The do gaming link gives me an error half way through the download, am I the only one having this problem? tried it twice and got the same error.
 
Only sad that the demo is like 20mins long, I did however almost shat myself. I like the game a lot, but this scary thing going on is gonna make that I don't play it. :o

Anyone else had lag or frequent stops in the game? Looked like it was loading or something, but I can't think why this would happen op my pc. :p

SharkBite, I also wanted to mention it earlier, was afraid it might only be me. I also get those frequent little stops/pauses as well. I think it might be driver related though. Will test it out with the newest Beta drivers of Nvidia tomorrow :)
