IE8 RC1 on XP SP3 – Handle with Care

I just ran windows updates and installed IE8 RC1. Since I had IE8 Beta prior to this install, it means I now cannot uninstall XP Service Pack 3. There is no option to remove this software in Add/Remove programs. Not that I want to remove it but in case you wanted to for some reason... first follow the steps indicated in this article, BEFORE you install IE8 RC1. I saw the article too late. :)

Under specific scenarios, IE8 RC1 and XP SP3 fail to play nice together

Why would you want to remove IE8... its a great new update and i think it gives firefox a good challenge
