This is a work in progress list. If you have stuff which works, then surely we can add to this list. Create a post below with the particulars, and I'll update this post.

If it does not work, do let know and the reason why (JAR too large, other problems, etc).

GAMES
Asterix and Cleopatra - works
Duke Nukem - works :D
Baldur's Gate - works :) -- need to sort out the directional keys and other stuff, some games think you got a numeric keypad :rolleyes:

APPLICATIONS
Opera Mini - works, landscape and portrait mode. Slight issue with Fn and SYM keys.
mxit elite works (landscape mode as well)
Ebuddy.com for instant messing to gtalk, msn and more. You'll need to download eBuddy from http://get.ebuddy.com with your phone, then you'll be able to select the correct package. Also, you'll need to register for an ebuddy ID. (*sigh*... more ID's... just to use google talk *sigh*)
AbiWord - works, but does not switch over to landscape mode, teh_sux
Go Bible - works, but does not switch over to landscape mode. You'll have to download the 128Kb sized files as there seems to be a limit to the size of the JAR file...
PhoneyBible - works OK WARNING it takes AGES to install, so be prepared to "lose" your phone for more than two hours or so... A suggestion is to install it when you charge the phone as it'll take ages, and you can do nothing else on the phone.



DOES NOT WORK
KJV Go Bible - doesn't - apparently installation file is too large to handle. :confused:
Mini Midnight Commander (signed and unsigned versions) - just borks out.
Mandriva - will have to look at why Mandriva doesn't pick it up, whilst Ubuntu picks it up. Bleh.


NEEDS HELP WITH:
Mobile Java ZX Spectrum emulator : http://mobilezx.sourceforge.net/ - can't get it to install :(

LINUX DISTROS
Ubuntu supports the LG KS360 out-of-the-box, including modem facilities. (GPRS only). (thanks 10i!) This means no additional software is needed to access the phone from Ubuntu. (Tested with latest 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope as well).

TIPS
With some games, the OK button defaults to the '5' button.

As to your Bluetooth not working - either your phone's bluetooth is faulty, or there's other issues.

Mine's working 100% - send, receive.

Discovered that you can take sepia toned pictures with the camera :D

when you say the bluetooth may be faulty i can send from phone to phone but not pc to phone and back.
 
i played with the bluetooth dongle (oooh!!!) and my phone and i managed to send a picture from my pc to my phone but when it came to doing the same with an mp3 it would not work.

Weird... it should work irrespective of the file type.

I have tested it on my phone, and it works 100%, no issues listed.

What bluetooth software do you use? I'm using the Widcomm software.
 
the dongle i have does not come with software you just plug it in and go so i don't know.
 
Cool - found that the camera do have a zoom - just use the volume + and - keys to zoom in/out :D

RE the bluetooth - it means that your dongle is using the standard bluetooth software bundled with windows. Or it installed the drivers without having to ask for a CD.
 
Gprs support for ubuntu 8.10 without installing additional software.
 
Why is my pc suite showing just 4 icons i dont have music,picture, and video manager tank for the tread librarian
