I'm too lazy to search if anyone has posted a guide for this ... so here is mine.

Last year I got over enthusiastic on my Guitar Hero II (before I got my wireless guitar) and pulled my ps2 right out of my TV stand. Well it ended up scratching my GHII disk - leaving it unreadable.

So i bought one of those lousy CD/DVD scratch cleaner kits from game... yawn:( - what a waste of time. So i searched the net and found these two links...

Brasso to polish scratches away ... no way!! But what the hell, tried it and it worked!!!! Just beware of the "New formula" brasso. So run a test first on an old stuffed up CD/DVD...

Good luck to you ...

I got some plastic polish from a lab that makes spectacle lenses. Very fine stuff but someone broke my bottle.

Brasso or very fine rubbing compound will also work.

You could also try you local video rental places, some of them have good kit to remove scratches from dvds. Takes a few seconds in the machine.
