DStv audio...mine just went mute

Can you guys with DStv please check if you're audio on your channels?

Mine went mute about 15 minutes ago and there's no sound on any of the channels. Rescan didn't fix it..
 
Ours is OK too, but I did notice some weird things this week. For some reason if you are on one channel (eTV 134) and volume is FULL, then change to another (BBC W), volume is set HALF way. We haven't changed any settings at all and have never seen this before.
 
I had problems during the week with E News channel 403; the sound also went off.
 
Does anyone know how to fix the audio changing on every channel?

Mnet is goes high, the sport channels its mute, how can i set all the channels to be the same? is this some kind of annoying bug or is it a setting?
 
maybe a neighbours remote blaster is causing the problem
 
The volume issue is due to that stupid setting somewhere that allows you to set volumes per channel..


you can reset it, just can't remember where...
 
To set the specific volume for each individual channel: press menu - advanced options - TV settings - enter: 9949 (default code) - set user volume - now set the volume for each channel.

You may have been watching a show with an interactive thingy on it, like Idols or Carte Blanche. The volume may mute during these shows if you press i or exit or change the channel or if the interactive thingy is removed when the show ends. If this happens just adjust the volume again. Those interactive thingies are annoying.
