Advanced notification: Potential service interruption 2nd & 3rd April 2009 -Cape Town

Please be advised that Cape Town subscribers may experience service interruptions on the 2nd April 2009 between 20:00 and 23:00 and on the 3rd April 2009 from 21:00 to 00:00.

This is due to necessary maintenance for network optimisation purposes.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

well, thx Neotel. Let's hope the service will be better after the downtime ... actually much better. Because right now I can't do much but posting in internet forums LOL

I had to reset my device to get online this morning. So I wonder if those speeds only had to do with the towers not being congested.
 
I had to reset my devise to get online as well today. If we want better broadband in this country then we need the SNO to be allot more efficient than they are at the moment...this is just sloppy.
The speeds are like being in traffic over De Waal drive except I would rather go down De Waal Drive over the week end than use Neotel!!! Get your act together or give us our money back so that we can go and spend it on Telkom!!!!
