I'm surprised none of the Sony fanbois has mentioned this yet
Sony has release three new cameras and four new lenses:
The Sony Alpha A230, A330 and A380 are 10, 10 and 15MP bodies respectively. The A330 and A380 looks mostly identical otherwise, while the A230 lacks live view but bizarrely appears to have a better viewfinder. This page shows the difference in specifications better.
With regards to lenses, there is a 30mm f/2.8 Macro, a 50mm f/1.8, a 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 and a 55-200mm Ff/4-5.6. These are entry level lenses, all with cheapy plastic construction. They all carry the SAM designation (Smooth Autofocus Motor) - I don't know if this is the same thing as USM/SDM/SWM/HSM, I imagine so. Sony fans, anyone know?
