Windows are closed, doors are open...try walking into the shop next time 
Seriously though , you should be able to take a peek. If closed, that's the flap for the serial number and they can just pop it

The flap was shut ... but took a chance : 12.1A and manufacture 2008-12-17 
Now ... to sell my old Xbox when it comes back from MI Digital, the Halo 3 bundle copy from it and the Halo Wars/Halo 3 bundle from this. Should make up about half of what I spent, hopefully :/
