BTW its good practice to add a type attribute to your script tag and to delimit your scripting lines with a semi-colon.
 
Am I just paranoid, or were you attempting to exploit a cross-site scripting vulnerability?

It's not cross-site if he only has the alert("Hello") in there, plus your browser would have notified you of security issues
