MTN pathetic

I am so sick of MTN.

After all the problems with my porting to them now I am having problems with service and reception.

No one from Cell - C can phone me, nor any landline and 2 friends from Dubai can also not connect a call with me. All that these people get is a engaged tone... not even my voice mail! :mad:

I have now tried to contact their "helpdesk" (please hold for an operator) twice in the last two days. Both times I held on for over 15 minutes and then just hung up.

WTF :mad: Anyone know who I can contact directly? Where I can get help?

First things first is to identify whether it's a phone or network issue. Have you swapped simcards with another phone?
 
It would appear that the proper process is to contact your SP about the problem, they will run tests and hopefully sort it out. In my case, Virgin can't handle a simple porting issue so that I can't receive ANY Virgin calls (not that there are many of those).
