If they had introduced the medal system, the current standings would look like this:
Jenson Button 6
Sebastian Vettel 2
Lewis Hamilton 2
Rubens Barrichello 2
Mark Webber 1
Kimi Raikkonen 1
Button would have sewn up the WC at Singapore and if Hamilton stayed on the form he currently finds himself in, he could well be runner up...
Who else is glad they abandoned that bad idea?
