The Democratic Alliance on Thursday launched a "crooked comrades" monitor listing the names of ANC officials found guilty of crimes or misconduct and called for them to be kicked out of public service.

The monitor contains the names of 16 officials, among them MPs Winnie Madikizela-Mandela and Angie Molebatsi, who hold fraud convictions, and MP and former health minister Manto Tshabalala-Msimang, who was convicted of stealing a patient's watch in a hospital in Botswana in the 1970s.

MW "He conceded that 16 was a relatively "small" number but predicted that the list would grow"
16 too many if you ask me.

I thought that once you had done the time for a crime that you had learnt your lesson and would not do it again.
This list is a really low move.

I would appreciate a list of tax wasters though.
i.e. A list of people who have spent tax money to personal benefit, and the details of those transactions, with a nice "total wasted by the ANC".

+1

Ofcourse give them a chance to justify their purchases.

That is a really childish view? So you are saying ok, they commited a crime while in office. But have done their time and now may continue to work in office no doubt repeating the same crime's only now with a little hindsight as to what they did wrong last time, thus ensuring not making the same mistakes that got them caught previously?

Take off your rose coloured glasses and view the situation as it stands, if you are entrusted with a position in office and you break that trust you have NO place in public office.

One of them is still doing the time albeit suspended time.

*YAWN*

The DA at it again. I wanna know who at that party sits and comes up with this stuff.

I think the folk at the ANC party are the ones that come up with this stuff. The DA just writes it down.

The DA has got time for games if they have to engage in such acts, but if it gives them a reason to exist, well let them go ahead and play a game called Crooked Comrade.

I know you might not understand democracy, but an opposition party is vital to the health of any democracy.

You know democracy that thing that your struggle heroes Malema, Fikile etc struggled for

So Siphox, you're perfectly happy having ex-cons in positions of power?
Don't you realize this speaks of their integrity? Or lack thereof?

Stealing a watch might seem petty to you, stealing a watch from a patient is quite a low blow. And you want to trust that guy with your health?

Siphox is used to such things, thats the country he fought for... Besides he probably would do the same.

OH.. and here i was thinking they struggled for the right of entitlement to squander tax payers money

DA can go ahead . We will see what they will get from their stupidity .

I struggle to see the stupidity of which you speak? So you are saying trying to stop corruption in the ANC is stup... Oh wait yes I agree it is stupid to try and get rid of corrupt officials in the ANC as that would mean we would have to get rid of the ANC as a whole.

Well spotted isede

you are as stupid as them I guess . Rather they make a list of corruption in the office place . i wouldnt care if Zuma stole a bottle of brandy when he in his teens . It would make for a good media stroy and be funny but what has that got to do with current affairs . But then I again I wouldnt expect a sensible answer from you , since you will defend anything your hereos say .
